A pencil drawing of a composition depicting a male figure reclining in a landscape. He holds a book in his right hand and looks towards the sky where a group of imaginary figures are gathered in front of a sunset (or full moon?). This is probably for one of Redgrave's illustrations, perhaps Milton's L'Allegro.
This drawing and another on the same album leaf (16/1352) are very slightly different versions of the same composition.
