This portrait of Christopher le Brun PRA by Humphrey Ocean was part of Ocean's 'Handbook of Modern Life' project featuring portraits of visitors to the artist's studio, which he began in 2006.
As part of this series Humphrey Ocean painted friends, family members and professional acquaintances. He worked in gouache on large sheets of paper in his studio.
