A sketch of a barn interior with extensive colour notes in a margin down the left hand side of the sheet. There are numbers drawn onto areas of the background which may refer to the number of beams. Clausen began to exhibit paintings of barn interiors as a distinct motif from 1897 until well into the 1930s.
