Photograph of a sketch model for a portrait bust of Ambrose McEvoy A.R.A. The plaster was exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in 1915, cat.74. A bronze was later included in the Derwent Wood memorial exhibition in 1927. In 1953 Mrs Derwent Wood presented a bronze bust of McEvoy to the Academy (03/1704).
One of a collection of 67 photographs of sculpture by Francis Derwent Wood R.A. The photographs formerly belonged to Kineton Parkes.
