Discover a contemporary approach to life drawing during this Saturday Sketch Club.

Throughout this online class artist Elinor Stanley will guide you as you practise figure drawing. Working from a life model, Elinor will teach you to capture mood and character in your life drawings by emphasising expressive body language. Whether you are a beginner or an old hand at life drawing, this class is an opportunity experiment with contemporary styles of life drawing.

Our Saturday Sketch Clubs are a series of online monthly art classes led by artists. Whether you're a beginner or a practising artist, these live-streamed classes are designed for everyone. Classes take place online via a live webinar.

Elinor Stanley is an award-winning artist and educator and an alumnus of the Royal Academy Schools. Elinor has exhibited across the UK and the world, including at the Lission Gallery, London; Nova Contemporary, Bangkok; the Walker Art Gallery; Liverpool, Dasein Gallery, Shenzhen; and the Royal Academy, London. Elinor's paintings feature nudes viewed adrift in painterly fields of high frequency colour, huge heads swim, perspective lurches and figures repeat.

For this class, all you will need is a pencil, paper and an eraser.
