Photographer. Sydney Newbury (1894-1985)
Like many other photographers, Sydney Newbury's background was that of printing, in his case it was lithography that lead him to photography. He specialised in architectural work, working chiefly for the Architects Journal. Noted for his technical abilities, his work was note for its clarity and precision. Newbury used 8"x6" or 10"x12" glass plates.
