Explore composition and and the contributions of women artists in Brazilian Modernist Art in this secondary teachers CPD workshop.

Join creative facilitator Esther Adesigbin to explore women artists through composition and negative space in an experimental, cross-media workshop inspired by our latest exhibition Brasil! Brasil! The Birth of Modernism.

You'll collage onto plaster cast forms and consider visual representations of identity, discovering how abstraction can challenge established narratives in the secondary classroom and learn ways to broaden student perspectives and invigorate your teaching practice.

This workshop is designed with secondary school teachers in mind and is suitable for teachers of any subject, not just art. We welcome all levels of art knowledge and experience and provide all materials.
